Launch note
Why we are launching MedProfile now.
Medical visibility in LATAM has become more necessary, more fragmented, and more expensive to manage. MedProfile exists to give control back to the professional.
The problem
Patients search online, but clinicians do not control where they land.
In many healthcare practices across Latin America, digital presence was assembled out of necessity, not design. A marketplace profile. An Instagram account. A WhatsApp number that receives clinical questions, schedule changes, new patient requests, lab results, and messages without context. An old Google listing. Maybe a website someone built years ago and nobody can update.
The result is uncomfortable: the professional depends on surfaces they do not fully control, while the patient tries to decide with incomplete information. Sometimes they find reviews without context. Sometimes they land in a directory where position depends on ads or paid plans. Sometimes the schedule is not real. Sometimes they simply cannot find the right professional.
The pain is not only marketing
For a doctor, psychologist, nutritionist, physical therapist, or any healthcare professional, being findable is not vanity. It is operations. If a patient cannot understand who you are, where you practice, which services you offer, and how to request an appointment, the work falls back to front desk teams, assistants, or personal messages.
That cost appears in small hours: answering the same question ten times, correcting old data, explaining availability by chat, asking someone to send another message, manually confirming an appointment that could have been requested online. None of that improves clinical care. All of it consumes energy from the practice.
Why now
Three changes make this the right moment to launch MedProfile.
First, patients already expect clear information before booking. They do not always want a long website; they want to know whether they are in the right place. Specialty, languages, location, visit mode, services, availability, and a simple path to request an appointment.
Second, the calendar is no longer only an internal detail. For many practices, showing real availability is part of the experience. If the public profile is not connected to operations, it becomes a static window that sends everyone back to chat.
Third, search is changing. Search engines and AI assistants understand structured, consistent, verifiable pages better. A clear profile does not only help a human patient; it also helps search systems represent the professional with less noise.
What we are building
MedProfile is a public home for healthcare professionals: free to claim, designed to show clear professional information, connected to the calendar, and under the professional's editorial control.
We do not want to turn healthcare into a star-rating contest. We do not want doctors to pay so patients can find them. We do not want the relationship between professional and patient to begin inside a marketplace incentive that rewards placement, ads, or pressure for reviews.
We want something more sober and more useful: a page that says who the professional is, what they treat, where they practice, how someone can book, and which information can be reviewed. A page the professional can keep current. A page that works like a public presence, not a commercial cage.
What the professional gets
- A free public profile built for patients and search.
- A clear place to explain services, locations, languages, and visit modes.
- Calendar-connected availability to reduce friction around appointment requests.
- Editorial control over the information that represents the practice.
- A foundation for creating future profiles and pages with agent help, without managing loose HTML files.
The principle
Healthcare professionals should not have to pay to exist properly on the internet. Patients should not have to navigate a mix of ads, incomplete profiles, and outdated data to find care.
MedProfile starts from that simple idea: give the professional a public presence they can claim, control, and connect to their schedule. First in LATAM, where the mix of WhatsApp, social media, directories, and manual operations has made the problem obvious. And now, because search, bookings, and AI are pushing public medical information to become more structured, clearer, and more trustworthy.
A medical profile you control. Always free.
MedProfile lets healthcare professionals claim a profile, connect availability, and receive appointment requests from a page they own.
